2. Click the Device Management tab.
The tab displays the device management toolbar and all SPB devices.
Toolbar
• Import—Imports SPB devices to the SPB module.
• Synchronize—Synchronizes SPB configuration from SPB devices to the SPB module. For
more information, see "Synchronizing SPBM configuration."
• Delete—Removes SPB devices from the device list.
• Set MST Region—Configures the MST region name, revision level, and MSTI 4092 to
B-VLAN mappings. For information, see "Configuring MST region parameters for multiple
devices."
• Refresh—Refreshes the SPB device list for latest device information.
Device List contents
• Status—Health status of the device. The information is collected by the IMC Platform. For
more information, see HP IMC Base Platform Administrator Guide.
• Device Name—Click the device name to view associated details. By default, this field
displays the device label and the device IP address. The device label is assigned by the
IMC Platform. The device IP address is the IP address used when the device was added
into the IMC Platform. For more information, see HP IMC Base Platform Administrator
Guide.
NOTE: To change the device name format, select System > System Configuration >
System Settings, and then change the setting for Device Info Display.
• DC—Name of the data center that contains the SPB device. Click the DC name to view
devices that have been imported to the DC. For more information, see "Managing network
devices."
• Device Model—Device model information collected by the IMC Platform. If the device
model is unknown, this column displays Unknown SNMP Product.
• MST Region—MST region name. All devices in an SPB network must have the same MST
region name for data exchange.
• VLANs Mapped to MSTI 4092—VLANs mapped to MSTI 4092 on the SPB device. Only
data in these VLANs can be forwarded in an SPB network.
• MSTP Revision Level—All devices in an SPB network must have the same MSTP revision
level for data exchange. For more information, see MSTP protocol.
• Last Sync—Displays the most recent time when synchronization occurred between the
SPB device and the SPB module.
• Sync Status—The latest synchronization result: Success, Failure, or Synchronizing.
• Operation—Click the Operation icon to do the following:
◦ View Device Config—Display the SPBM configuration. For more information, see
"Viewing SPBM configuration."
◦ Set MST Region—Change the MST region. For more information, see "Configuring
MST region parameters for one device."
◦ Interface List—Display the interface list. For more information, see "Managing
interfaces."
