Backing up and restoring HP Insight Management 7.3 Central Management Server (Windows)

Technical white paper | HP Insight Management 7.3
During the second phase, you are asked to identify services that were deleted after the backup. To help with this effort, the
mxsync tool creates the file <SIM>\mxsync\data\InfrastructureServices.txt, which contains a list of the
infrastructure orchestration services defined in the restored database. Before performing the execution step, you are asked
to edit the generated file, and mark with an asterisk (*) the services that were deleted. The modified
InfrastructureServices.txt file is shown in Figure 1.
Important:
By default, expired services are left in a deactivated state. However, if, as a post-backup activity, an expired service was
deleted, and resources such as IP addresses were reallocated to another service, the service definition must be deleted
during this phase. As noted in the phase 2 RESOLUTION item, you can use the lease.end.policy parameter in the
<HPIO>conf\hpio.properties file to control the behavior.
