Blocked iLO ports
Solution: iLO communicates through several configurable TCP/IP ports. If these ports are blocked,
the administrator must configure the firewall to allow for communications on these ports. For
information about viewing and changing the iLO port configuration, see “Configuring iLO access
settings” (page 39).

Unable to receive HP SIM alarms (SNMP traps) from iLO
Solution: A user who has the Configure iLO Settings privilege must connect to iLO to configure
SNMP trap parameters. When you are connected to iLO, make sure that the correct alert types
and trap destinations are enabled on the AdministrationManagement page in the iLO web
interface.
Incorrect authentication code
When you use a Mozilla browser, you might receive an incorrect authentication code error message,
which indicates that the public or private key pair and certificate used to initiate the browser SSL
session has changed. This error message might occur when you do not use a customer provided
certificate because iLO generates its own self-signed certificate each time it is rebooted.
