SCSI Hard Disk Drive LEDs
The two SCSI hard disk drives on the BL60p server blade have identical LEDs that show the status of the
hard disk drives. Figure 5-2 shows the locations of the hard disk drive LEDs.

Table 5-13 details the functions of the hard disk drive LEDs.

On Off Off Do not remove the drive. Removing a drive during this
process causes data loss.
The drive is being accessed and is not configured as part of an
array.
On Flashing Off Do not remove the drive. Removing a drive during this
process causes data loss.
The drive is rebuilding or undergoing capacity expansion.
Flashing Flashing Flashing Do not remove the drive. Removing a drive during this
process causes data loss.
The drive is part of an array being selected by the Array
Configuration Utility.

The Options ROMPaq is upgrading the drive.
