8 Installing and Booting the Operating System
If you purchased your server blade without an OS installed, you need to install it onto your BL60p server
blade. There are two ways to install your OS; using a USB DVD/CD, or using HP-UX Ignite. Use this
procedure to install the OS to your server blade using an external USB DVD/CD drive, or HP-UX Ignite. This
chapter also includes procedures on how to boot and shut down your OS once it is installed.
