Grounding
The site building shall provide a safety ground/protective earth ground to all enclosures.
Install a PE (protective earthing) conductor that is identical in size, insulation material, and thickness to the
branch-circuit supply conductors. The PE conductor must be green with yellow stripes. The earthing
conductor is to be connected from the unit to the building installation earth or, if supplied by a separately
derived system, at the supply transformer or motor-generator set grounding point.
Electrical Specifications
The server blade runs on -48 VDC power. This power is provided by the blade server enclosure. Refer to the
enclosure documentation for the electrical specifications.
Power and Cooling
Typical power consumption and cooling values for the server blade is listed in Table 1-3. The table lists power
and cooling values associated with server blades that contain the listed components. These power and cooling
values are considered typical and not maximum for the configurations shown.
