Table 5-5 details the functions of the front panel LEDs.
Locator LED
The locator LED, or unit identifier (UID) allows a specific server blade to be identified in a rack or data center
environment. One Locator LED is located on the front panel.
NOTE When the UID is lit, this also indicates that the BMC is working properly.
Health LED (HLED)
Server blades added the health LED for the following reasons:
To carry forward the Attention functionality of legacy Integrity front panel designs.
To indicate whether the system is up or down.
To cover the wide range of faults for which software/firmware is not sure that a FRU must be
reseated/replaced.

Off = No activity
7 Power Green = On
Amber = Standby power (main power off, iLO MP power on)
