representative.
Warranty
Upon completion of the upgrade, please contact HP with the new Product Number and Serial Number. The
warra nty of the original server will be transferred to the upgraded server and the service time will be reset.
Proof of purchase (POP) must be provided and the HP warranty organization must be notified.
The POP should be a scanned copy or fax of a Sales Receipt or Invoice from HP or an authorized reseller.
It can also be an Order Confirmation, Shipping Receipt, or Reseller based purchase/shipping confirmation
that contains the following:
The purchase or shipping date.
The product number or product name/product description.
The serial number, but it is not required (some invoices do not have serial numbers).
The vendor’s name (the name of the business where the unit was purchased).
IMPORTANT: Ensure that all information is clearly readable.

Support
The support Flex Care Pack should have been purchased at the same time the Upgrade Kit was ordered
with at least the same level of care provided on the system to be upgraded. Your HP sales representative
will take care of applying the support package to the new upgraded server providing credit for the unused
portion of the package purchased for the original server. The new Flex Care Pack must be registered with
the serial number of the original server included to ensure support entitlement.
