Virtual Media USB flash drive support limited to read-only support
The iLO Virtual Media functionality that allows you to mount a USB Flash drive from your PC as a
drive on your server blade is limited in functionality to read-only support for the initial release of
the firmware. Read-Write functionality will be added in an update to the iLO firmware in the future.
Required Add-on Mezzanine Cards updates
Mezzanine Cards shipped with HP Integrity BL860c i2, BL870c i2 and BL890c i2 Server Blades
are all updated in the factory to ensure they have firmware supported by the system. However,
mezzanine cards not shipped with the system may have older firmware that is not supported.
Update the firmware on separately purchased mezzanine cards to the latest version available on
hp.com before installing in the system.
Insight Remote Support Advanced requirements
Insight Remote Support Advanced version A.05.45 is required for BL860c i2, BL870c i2 and
BL890c i2 Server Blade Support. This must be installed on HP Systems Insight Manager 6.1 or
later. See the HP-UX Errata for HP Integrity BL860c i2, BL870c i2 & BL890c i2 Server Blades for
required software on the server blades.
Wake-On-LAN (WOL) is not supported in Windows and OpenVMS
environments
Wake-On-LAN (WOL) is supported with Integrity BL860c i2, BL870c i2 and BL890c i2 Server
Blades running HP-UX 11i v3. Wake-On-LAN (WOL) is not supported with Integrity servers running
Windows or OpenVMS environments. The supported remote power-on solution for Windows and
OpenVMS is iLO. Refer to the User Service Guide for details.
Minimum firmware requirements
Minimum firmware versions for Onboard Administrator and Virtual Connect are required for BL860c
i2, BL870c i2 & BL890c i2 Server Blades for initial release of 15.05.
