1 HP Server Static Mount Kit for NEBS 2000 Rack – Installation Instructions Introduction This manual provides instructions for static mounting the hp Integrity cx2600 server chassis in a NEBS 2000 rack. Cabinet Safety Precautions WARNING Ensure that the rack is level and stable before working on the rack. Be sure the leveling jacks (feet) extend to the floor and that the full weight of the rack rests firmly on the floor. WARNING Ensure that the rack has anti-tip measures in place.

Check that all required mounting hardware is available. A mounting kit parts list is provided at the rear of this manual. Mount the Server Mount a server in the NEBS 2000 rack as follows: Step 1.

Attach the rear rack mount brackets to the rear columns as shown in Figure 1-3 using T25 panhead screws.

Loosely install two chassis rear mount brackets to the back of the rear rack columns as shown in Figure 1-3. Attach each chassis rear mount bracket to the corresponding retainer bar using two T25 screws, but do not tighten the screws at this time. Step 7. Install the server.
