Step 6. Loosely install two chassis rear mount brackets to the back of the rear rack columns as shown in
Figure 1-3. Attach each chassis rear mount bracket to the corresponding retainer bar using two T25
screws, but do not tighten the screws at this time.
Step 7. Install the server. Slide the server into position on the rails and secure it to the front columns with
T25 screws threaded into the front retainer bars.

Step 8. From the rear of the rack, secure cable routing mount brackets on the rear of the server chassis to
the chassis rear mount brackets using T25 screws as shown in Figure 1-5. Then tighten the screws
that secure the chassis rear mount brackets to the columns and retainer bars. (These screws were
left loose in step 6.)
