ENQ/ACK flow control is the default. Smooth scrolling requires
ENQ/ACK flow control and is available only for 653x terminals.
CTS flow control is available only for ATP6100 subdevices. The
CTSFLOW SYSGEN modifier turns on CTS flow control. You can
change the SYSGEN default by including the CTSFLOW attribute in
the CMI ALTER SU command. When CTS flow control is selected,
CSSASYNC monitors the clear to send (CTS) signal. When CTS is
high, CSSASYNC transmits. When CTS is low, CSSASYNC waits to
transmit until it goes high.
XON/XOFF flow control is available only for ATP6100 subdevices.
Select XON/XOFF flow control by specifying the transmit on
(XON) and transmit off (XOFF) characters with the XONCHAR and
XOFFCHAR SYSGEN modifiers. You can change the SYSGEN defaults
by including the XONCHAR and XOFFCHAR attributes in CMI ALTER SU
commands.
