Baud Rate
In general, Tandem asynchronous controllers support devices that
run at speeds of 50 to 19,200 baud. Devices controlled
by CSSPRINT running on an LIU1 or by SERIALPRINTPROCESS must
transmit and receive at the same rate. Devices attached to an
LIU4 can transmit and receive at different rates. See Section
1 for some restrictions on baud rate combinations for LIU4
subdevices.
Both SERIALPRINTPROCESS and CSSPRINT support 200 baud operation.
However, to select 200 baud for a SERIALPRINTPROCESS subdevice,
you must use the BAUD2000 SYSGEN modifier. SERIALPRINTPROCESS
does not support 2000 baud operation. For CSSPRINT subdevices,
BAUD200 selects 200 baud and BAUD2000 selects 2000 baud.
