Abstract
HP NonStop™ AutoSYNC™ software is a reliable, fault-tolerant, and automatic
subsystem for replicating files through synchronization. This manual describes the
uses, installation, and all other operational aspects of AutoSYNC.

This manual supports all J-series RVUs, all H-series RVUs, and all G-series RVUs,
until otherwise indicated in a replacement publication.

New and Changed Information
The option FILESETID has been added to ADD SYNCFILSET to select the specific
ID of a new syncfileset; see ADD SYNCFILESET
on page 8-7 for details.
The option FILESETID has been added to the OBEYFORM option to display the
file set ID in the OBEYFORM output; see INFO SYNCFILESET
on page 8-74 for
details.
ADD SYNCUSER, ALTER SYNCUSER and INFO SYNCUSER no longer require
commas between command options.
A new syncuser attribute EMSFILENOTSYNCED has been added to generate an
EMS event to signal that one or more files in a synchronization that ran to
completion was not synchronized. The event does not indicate an error condition,
merely that some files were not synchronized. See ADD SYNCUSER on page 8-25
and ALTER SYNCUSER
on page 8-52 for a description of the attribute.
