5093 Virtual Tape Device %1
REINITIALIZE after a
SCSI BUS RESET
The VTC internally re-
initializes all devices of
the bus, possibly
cancelling any current
activity on the drive,
because it received a
BUS RESET.
If NSK tape
applications were
aborted, resubmit.
If the problem re-
occurs, analyze EMS
logs $0 and $ZLOG.
5094 Virtual Tape Device %1
REINITIALIZE after a
SCSI TARGET RESET
The VTC internally re-
initializes the device,
possibly cancelling any
current activity on the
drive, because it
received a TARGET
RESET.
If an NSK tape
application was
aborted, resubmit.
If the problem re-
occurs, analyze EMS
logs $0 and $ZLOG.
5095 Virtual Tape Device %1

drive, because it
received an ABORT
TASK.
If an NSK tape
application was
aborted, resubmit.

occurs, analyze EMS

A data file is not found
in the expected path,
the original path is still
available, and the
timestamp validation is
disabled.
The conditions above
prohibit usage of the
found data file.
Re-enable the
timestamp checking in
data store and for the
specific volume.
If timestamp checking
must be disabled,
move the data file in
the expected path.
