20051 The current block size is
too short to hold a
complete record of data
from the physical tape
volume
The physical tape drive
used to IMPORT a
volume have a block
size too small to read a
data record from the
physical tape volume
Increase the block size
associate to the
physical tape drive.
To update the block
size, logon into the
Domain and go to VT
Controller Advenced
Properties
Configuration page.
20052 Configuation file
contains invalid
parameters
The VtConfig.txt,
FcConfig.txt or
AdmConfig.txt file
contains invalid
parameter that prevent
the specify service to
start correcltly.
Logon into the VTC
who repport the error
and analyze the reason
of error in the Windows
Events Log.
20053 Another service instance
is still active
A previous stop of the
service doesn’t complete
successfully and part of
the previous instance
are still active.
Restarting the
Windows Server when
all tape activity has
been completed.
Contatc the Product
Support if the problem
not solve after
restarting the server.
20054 Initializing the service
infrastructure
Internal error or system
ressources are too low.
Contact the Product
Support.
20055 Initializing FC-SCSI
interface
Internal error or
hardware/software
installation problems.
Contact the Product

28000 EZX JOB using volume
<JOB> from <DOMAIN>
with DSN <DSN> is
rejected, a job with the
same DSN is already
executing.
The EZX MVS Agent
does not accept two
consecutive locks on the
same dataset – except
when they come from
the same Domain
Manager for the same
tape volume label.
Serialize EZX transfers
to/from the same MVS
dataset.
28001 EZX JOB with DSN
<DSN> from
<DOMAIN> using
volume <VOLUME> is
rejected: unable to
allocate a XFER handle
to execute the job
