running the BackPak domain manager, but attached to a different, peripheral node,
get EMS from both nodes.
Trace in NonStop
It is possible to trace the BackPak domain internal activity in NonStop. The tracing is
activated by the domain page configuration in the BackPak GUI by:
- Setting the “Trace Level” to 1
- Entering a “Trace Sub Volume” that will receive the trace files. This sub
volume must be dedicated to receiving traces. The trace files are numerous;
the “Trace Level” should be reset to 0 as soon as possible.
When transmitting these traces to ETINET support, it is handy to PAK all files of the
trace sub volume and the file BBSVCFG of the BackPak installation subvol, or even
the whole BackPak installation subvol.
