AdmLog.log is written by the “VTC Admin” service. It is controlled by
C:\ProgramData\ETINET\VTC\Config\BBAdminAppCfg.xml. See the Appendix D in the
BackBox User Manual

EndOperationLog_<n>.log
Messages about the forwarding of the tape unload events to the Domain manager on
NonStop.
These logs are automatically purged: up to 5 or 10 occurrences of these files of
limited size are produced in a round-robin fashion.

EVMessageLog_<n>.log
Messages about the forwarding of local messages forwarded to NonStop EMS.
These logs are automatically purged: up to 5 or 10 occurrences of these files of
limited size are produced in a round-robin fashion.
FCLog.log is written by the “VTC Emulator (FC)” service (for older SCSI
connections, VTLog.log is written by “VTC Emulator (SCSI)”).
All Emulator service start-ups and very severe errors are logged in this log that is not
purged automatically. Detailed tracing (more than level 1) must not be kept enabled
for long periods of time.
Additional entries are written if VTC tracing is enabled through the BackPak GUI by
modifying the “Advanced Properties” of the VTC configuration.
To enable the traces for a test:
- set the “Trace Level” to 16, “Update” and “Save” the configuration
- run the tape application on NonStop
- set the “Trace Level” to 0, “Update” and “Save” the configuration
