3257 Volume %s is cataloged
in volcat %s pool %s
with media type %s,
should be cataloged with
the emulated media
type %s since BackBox
V2.06. Volume media
type might have to be
fixed by 'MEDIACOM
ALTER TAPEVOLUME
<pattern>, TYPE LTO3,
POOL <name>' before
loaded volumes are
accepted by $ZSVR.
The tape drive type
emulated by BackBox
changed in the product
life:
- versions before V2.06
emulated 3490 drives
- versions at/after V2.06
emulate LTO3 drives
DSM/TC registers the
media type in its
catalog, and $ZSVR
requires the proper
media type is loaded
before accepting the
loaded volume.
This case normally
occurs only when
upgrading from
pre-V2.06 version,
to V2.06 and up.
The media type of
BackBox virtual
volumes must be
modified in DSM/TC
(see upgrade
documentation)
3258 Unload %s from drive
%s.%s rejected. The
tape drive status %s
according MEDIACOM
does not allow
unloading.
A manual unload is
rejected because the
drive status in SCF does
not allow this operation.
Wait for the device is
no more used by any
tape application,
before retrying.
Restart the drive in
SCF to clean a frozen
state.
3259 The length of bar-coded
label returned by tape
library is truncated from
%ld to 6, medium will
be identified by label
'%s'.
BackPak does not
support tape labels
longer than 6
characters.
Extra characters are
ignored.
Physical libraries:
- reprint the bar-coded
label for the media
(build only by an NSK
compliant tape label)
Virtual libraies:
- regenerate a volume
with a proper ‘bar-
coded’ label
