3316 EMS Extractor for node
%s is not maintaining
the operational status in
OPER file. Additional
status queries were
executed.
Status of tape drives
and mount requests are
normally maintained in
the OPER file by the
EMS Extractors, for
lighter processing of
web requests.
In some conditions, for
example when the
configuration has been
modified or the EMS
Extractor has stopped,
the information is not
available and external
entities must be
queried:
- NSK MEDIASRV
- VTCs
- Library Changer
Controllers
Be sure the EMS
Extractor is running
correctly.
Eventually restart it
and check for error
messages in EMS.
3317 Labeling volume %s
failed: %s
An error occured in a
volume labeling.
Refer to the end of
message.
3318 Labeling volume %s
skipped, current location
%s not acceptable.
The current slot location
in library is not
acceptable for labelling.
Occurs when the volume
is already loaded in a
drive.
If the volume must
really be labelled,
unload it, and re-issue
the labelling process.
3319 Labeling %s volume %s
(drive %s) rejected by
SPI with code %d-%s.
Retry #%d to execute
(%d retries maximum).
The return-code of
MEDIASRV or TMFSRV
to a label command
indicates a failure while
writing labels to the
tape drive.
Automatic retries should
overcome the error.
If the maximum
number of retries was
reached:
- be sure the labelling
parameter “Override”
is checked
- be sure the volume is
not already
cataologed in TMF /
DSMTC
- consider discarting a
physical media
3320 The volume %s is not in
the library %s
A library volume is not
registered as being
located in the library.
The requested action,
such as a load request,
cannot be performed.
Refresh the library
inventory kept by
BackPak by the web UI
“Storage Admin”,
“Library management”,
“Get Library Inventory”
Eventually insert the
media in the library
