3405 %ld drives without client
to Key manager %s for
decrypting.
Part of a message
#3227 “No available
resource to mount…”.
Some drives cannot be
used because they are
not associated with any
Key manager client: no
VTC Client and no VLE
CLIM Client.
If HP VLE devices are
down, start them by
SCF.
See also “Recovery of
encryption related
errors”.
3406 %ld drives not
connected to an
expected VLE CLIM, or
non LTO4 request.
Part of a message
#3227 “No available
resource to mount…”.
Some drives cannot be
used as VLE drives
because they are not on
a CLIM that is the
configured as client to
the Key Manager, or
because the volume
media is not LTO4.
If HP VLE must be
used, ensure:
- the BackPak Volume
group is configured for
LTO4
- if DSM/TC, the
volumes are cataloged
as LTO4 tape volumes
See also “Recovery of
encryption related
errors”.
3407 No Etinet Key manager
client configured for Key
manager %s %s.
Encryption/decryption
impossible.
In “VTC ONLY” Key
manager setup, a VTC
client must be
configured in the Key
Manager for all VTCs
that are routes for the
encrypted volumes.
Fix the BackPak
configuration.
3408 No client in VTC %s for
Key manager %s %s
(no VTC client
configured and no drive
connected to VLE
CLIMs).
Encryption/decryption
impossible
In “VLE
INTEROPERABILITY”
setup, VTC clients
and/or CLIM clients
must configured in the
Key manager.
Fix the BackPak
configuration.
If some or all clients
are VLE CLIM, verify
the media type of the
volumes is LTO4 in
DSM/TC and in the
BackPak Volume
group.
3409 No drive in the domain
is currently connected to
VLE CLIM %s
A VLE CLIM is
configured as Key
Manager client, but no
drive is both set for
encryption in SCF and
connected to the
specified CLIM.
See “Recovery of
encryption related
errors”.
