Installation requisites
A user account with full local administrator right is required for the installation process.
If the user account of the installation process will not be the same account use for
application operation, make sure to select the “Everyone” option in the Select folder
dialog box.
For normal application operation, Javascript enabled and Popup Window enabled
should be set as describe in the Internet Options section of this document.
Install BackPak UI Client
This section documents how to install the BackPak UI Client on a Windows machine, a
workstation or a VTC server.
Access an image of the BackPak distribution set, navigate to the UI-v.vv.vvvvv
directory, sub directory “32bits” or “64bits” (or “Windows x64” for a 64 bits
Windows operating system).
Run Setup.exe
If a Windows component is missing or not up-to-date, an attempt will be made to fetch
it from the Microsoft site on internet. If internet is not available, the user will have to
get and install the missing component by the appropriate procedure in the site.

Optionally, the default value for the UI session timeout can be adjusted. See at the end
of this section “Session timeout configuration”.
