When configuring a multi-zone BladeCluster/6780 topology, nodes connected to a particular
BladeCluster zone must be assigned the same ServerNet node numbers on both the BladeCluster
and 6780 ServerNet Cluster fabrics:

It is possible that certain nodes connected to the 6780 ServerNet Cluster fabrics might not (or
cannot) be connected to the BladeCluster fabrics. For example, consider a BladeCluster/6780
topology with:
• BladeSystems and NS16000 series nodes connected to both the X11 and Y11 6780 ServerNet
cluster switches and BladeCluster zone 1.
• Only S-Series nodes connected to the X21 and Y21 6780 ServerNet cluster switches.
Every node that is connected to the BladeCluster fabrics in a BladeCluster/6780 topology must
also be connected to the 6780 cluster fabrics. However, as described above, nodes that are
connected to the 6780 cluster fabrics in a BladeCluster/6780 topology might not (or cannot) be
connected to the BladeCluster fabrics in some cases. Therefore, it is possible that certain BladeCluster
zones might be absent from the BladeCluster/6780 topology (in the example above, BladeCluster
zone 2 is absent).
