CORBA 2.6.1A Readme (H-series and J-series)

SDK will be $DATA01.E2818H12.
NOTE: In the case of a non default installation, the ISV
chosen for all components MUST be the same.
b) Use the HP NonStop NS-series Server based OSS installer (install)
(installed by IPSetup) by typing the following at an OSS shell
prompt:
cd /G/SYSTEM/<ISV>
install
NOTE: When using the manual install you MUST choose to install
RTK even if you are choosing SDK and/or SSL. Both the SDK and SSL
installations require the RTK pax file. Failure to do so will result
in an error similar to the following during installation:
starting to unpack files
cat: cannot open /tmp/ossinst85262471
cat: cannot open /tmp/ossinst85262471
doPax2818[61]: test: argument expected
Regardless of the final installation method, if you need more
information about installation and/or installation parameters, you
should refer to the NonStop CORBA 2.6.1 documentation that you
installed. Using a Web browser open up the home.htm file located in
the root directory of the NonStop CORBA 2.6.1 documentation and
select the Installing NonStop CORBA 2.6.1 section in one of the
Getting Started Guides for example,the Getting Started Guide for C++
or the Getting Started Guide for Java.
NOTE: If you used DSM/SCM to install (unpax) your products, you do
not need to unpax the files a second time.
The NonStop CORBA 2.6.1A files are unpaxed into the locations below
your root installation directory, which is /usr/tandem/nsdoms by
default.
The subdirectories created in the installation process are outlined
in the following table:
