Theory of Operation
Use the Integration Flow Designer to design systems of maps to model your
data transformation business processes.
Use the Map Designer to develop these maps.
! The Map Designer uses the Command Server to run maps.
Use the Type Designer to define your source and target data structures.
Use the Database Interface Designer to import metadata and identify
characteristics of those objects to meet mapping and execution requirements
such as update keys and database triggers.
Finally, use the Integration Flow Designer to create your system definition,
map overrides, and server deployment
