Database Interface Designer Interface
The Database Interface Designer interface is used to create and maintain
database/query files and generate type trees. The interface includes a title bar, a
menu bar, configurable toolbar, status bar, Navigator, and a main window.
Database Interface Designer Navigator
The icons and file names that appear in the Navigator graphically represent all of
the open database/query files and the databases that they contain. The
Navigator also provides a graphical representation of the queries, stored
procedures, message queues, and tables or views that have type trees generated.
Also displayed are tables and views with update keys defined, as well as variables
that are defined in each database/query file.
Similar to the Navigator windows in the Map Designer and Integration Flow
Designer, the Database Interface Designer Navigator may be shown or hidden. If
shown, the Database Interface Designer Navigator may be docked or floated in
the main window or anywhere on the desktop.
