Server Overview
The NonStop DTE CORBA Transformation Server implements Mercator mapping processes as a
Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) service running within the NonStop CORBA
environment. The possible data transformations that can be performed are the set of compiled map files
in the same directory as the CORBA server executable.
The NonStop DTE CORBA Transformation Server executes a compiled map using the Platform API
RunMap function. How the map is executed is defined through the MapSettings and CardSettings
user interface of the Map Designer. These settings are compiled into the compiled map file. Many of
these settings compiled into the map can be overridden (or partially overridden) through execution
commands and options.
When running the NonStop DTE CORBA Transformation Server as a NonStop TS/MP server class,
make sure the WorkSpace setting of your Map is set to WorkMemory as shown in Figure 1 or WorkFile
with FilePrefix Unique as shown in Figure 2.
