Connect External Devices
Complete the procedure for Connect External Paths on page 2-19.
Alter or Add DISK Objects
If you are moving the FCSA but retaining the other path attributes, you can alter the
existing DISK path attributes as in this following example:
-> ALTER DISK $DISK02,
-> PRIMARYLOCATION (11,2,4), &
-> MBACKUPLOCATION (11,3,1)
If you are changing the path, you are changing the DISK path attributes, delete the
DISK objects by using the SCF DELETE command, and then add new DISK objects by
using the SCF ADD command. See Disk Configuration (ESS Connection) on
page 2-15 and Start the Disk on page 2-16.
Restart the Connected Devices
Use the SCF START command to restart each device connected to this adapter.
Troubleshooting
If the SCF STATUS SAC command shows that the FCSA SAC object is still in the
STARTING state after a few minutes, follow the procedure described in Verify That the
Connected Devices Are Operational on page 3-13.
If you receive file-system error -2 or error 66, or if the FCSA does not show up in OSM,
follow the procedures described in Troubleshoot the Disk Configuration on page 2-22.
