Updating ME FPGA Firmware
Table 1-2 shows the Processor Switch firmware file (ME FPGA under OSM attributes):
You use the OSM Service Connection to update the ME FPGA firmware:
1. In the OSM Service Connection tree pane: select System > Fabric Group >
Internal ServerNet Fabric>Processor Switch>ServerNet Switch Board.
2. Right-click ServerNet Switch Board
3. In the Actions dialog box select ME FPGA Update and click Perform Action.
4. Monitor the update.

These terms briefly describe the processor (blade) complex, which is composed of two
or three slices (blade elements) and their associated logical synchronization units
(LSUs):

Note. In software interfaces and messages, you might see:

The term slice, which is equivalent to the term NonStop Blade Element (NSBE). In a
future RVU, the term slice will be replaced with NonStop Blade Element, Blade Element, or
NSBE.

The term processor complex, which is equivalent to the term NonStop Blade Complex
(NSBC). In a future RVU, the term processor complex will be replaced with NonStop
Blade Complex, Blade Complex, or NSBC.
