Configuring the CTL700 Tape Library
for the NonStop NS-Series Server
This section covers:
Fibre Channel ServerNet Adapter Connection
You can attach the tape library’s control path and data path (CT9841FC-1, M8503,
M8608A tape drives) to a Fibre Channel ServerNet adapter (FCSA) on a NonStop NS-
series server.
The SCSI control path connects to a FCSA on a NonStop NS-Series server through an
M8201 Fibre Channel to SCSI router.
For more information about the router, refer to the M8201 Fibre Channel
to SCSI Router Installation and User’s Guide.
All Fibre Channel tape drives connect directly to a FCSA on the NonStop NS-series
server by using a fiber optic cable.
