2 Unpacking the Tape Library
This section covers:

This section provides the procedures for preparing the tape library site, unpacking and
positioning the tape library, and removing the shipping hardware.
Required Tools
The tools needed to unpack and install the basic tape library and its associated tape
drives are:

3/4-inch wrench, adjustable wrench, or socket wrench
•
Phillips screwdriver
•
Torx set
•
3/16-inch nut driver
•
5/16-inch nut driver
•
Diagonal cutters or knife
•
Laptop computer
•
RJ45 cable
•
RJ45-DB9 adapter
Additional tools needed to install the expansion frame are:
