Opening the Tape Library Front Doors
Opening the Tape Library Front Doors
You must open the front doors on the tape library to perform manual operations. Refer
to Figure 6-2 as you perform this procedure.
1. Check that all jobs have ended and that the tape library is offline.
2. Open the tape library right front door by pulling on the left side of the door.
3. Open the tape library left front door by using a latch key to unlock both locks. Turn
the key counterclockwise to unlock them, and then pull open the door.
