Abstract
This manual describes how to use the symbolic command-line debugger Native
Inspect for debugging TNS/E native processes and snapshot files on HP NonStop™
Series TNS/E systems.

This edition of the manual documents Native Inspect support for COBOL programs:
•
A sample COBOL debugging session has been added to Section 2.
•
A new section, Section 3, Using Native Inspect With COBOL Programs, has been
added. (The previous Sections 3 and 4 have been renumbered to Sections 4 and
5, respectively.)
•
Certain command descriptions in Section 5 (previously Section 4) have been
updated with examples and additional considerations for COBOL programs.
Other changes:
•
The sample C debugging session in Section 2 has been replaced with a more
current example.
•
A number of technical corrections have been made throughout the manual.
