General Syntax Notation
This list summarizes the notation conventions for syntax presentation in this manual.
UPPERCASE LETTERS. Uppercase letters are used for COBOL keywords and reserved
words. For example:
PROCEDURE DIVISION
lowercase nonitalic letters. lowercase nonitalic letters are used for Native Inspect
commands. Type these items exactly as shown. Items not enclosed in brackets are
required. For example:
