DescriptionComponent
Restricts the list of debug configurations shown to those that have names that contain the
text that is typed in the box. For example, typing Non or NonStop in the box results in
a list that includes only the NonStop debug configurations. Click to clear the text in
the box.
Filter text box
Lists all the debug configurations that are available in this workspace. You can:
• Select an individual debug configurations and right-click to copy it, delete it, or add
a new configuration of the same debug type.
• Select a debug configuration and double-click to begin a debugging session using
that configuration
• Select a debug type and right-click to add a new configuration of that debug type.
Debug configuration list
Creates a new debug configuration of the same type that is selected (highlighted) in the
list.
Duplicates the debug configuration that is selected (highlighted) in the list.
Deletes the debug configuration that is selected (highlighted) in the list.
Collapses all expanded debug configurations, allowing you to navigate using only the
debug configuration types.
Sets the filter preferences for run and debug configurations. See “Listing and filtering
debug configurations” (page 27).
Debug configuration group box
You access this group box using one of these methods:
• Select an existing debug configuration in the configurations filter pane.
• Select a NonStop debug configuration type in the configurations filter pane and click
• Right-click a NonStop debug configuration type in the configuration filter pane and select
New from the menu.
DescriptionComponent
Specifies a name for this debug configuration. The default name is New_configuration.
Type the name in the box.
Name:
Specifies a project, a remote system, and whether the application is a Guardian or OSS
application.
Main tab
Specifies program arguments, if any. This tab appears only for NonStop Application debug
configurations.
Arguments tab
Specifies environment variables (OSS) or DEFINES (Guardian) for the remote application. This
tab appears only for NonStop Application debug configurations.
Environment tab
Specifies which debugger to use and provides debugger options.Debugger tab
Specifies how to search for source files.Source tab
