Configuring OSM on Non-Default Stacks
If the Windows-based console on which the NonStop I/O Essentials client-based components are
installed is outside of the dedicated maintenance LAN, you must specify stack parameter(s) for
OSM in your OSMCONF as follows:
stack = <TCPIP process name>
For example:
stack = $ZTC00
stack = $ZTC01
NOTE: After editing your OSMCONF file, you must restart the following OSM server processes
(if running on the NonStop system) for the changes to take effect:
• $ZZKRN.#OSM-CIMOM
• $ZZKRN.#OSM-APPSRVR
• $ZZKRN.#OSM-OEV
Changing the Default SSH Port
The default SSH port is 22. SSH may need to be configured to run on a public TCP/IP stack if
NonStop I/O Essentials is installed on a PC outside the dedicated maintenance LAN. You can
change the default port by adding the following setting to mx.properties, which is the HP SIM
properties file:
MX_SSH_PORT
The mx.properties file can be found:
• On a Windows console: C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\config
• On a Linux console: /etc/opt/mx/config
