OSM Low-Level Link
OSM Low-Level Link
The OSM Low-Level Link enables you to communicate with a server even when the
NonStop operating system is not running. Also, some actions that are performed on a
running server, such as starting the system or priming a processor for reload, require
you to use the OSM Low-Level Link.
OSM Low-Level Link can be installed and used only if you select the dedicated
maintenance LAN option during OSM client installation.
OSM Event Viewer
The OSM Event Viewer allows you to retrieve, view, and save EMS events from event
logs. It also gives you access to event details such as cause, effect, and recovery
information. The OSM Event Viewer is a browser-based application, similar in
appearance and function to WebViewPoint.
OSM Replacement Procedures
OSM provides addition, removal, or replacement procedures for field replaceable units
(FRUs) that you can launch from the OSM Replacement actions. These procedures
are also available in the NonStop Technical Library (NTL) internal collection in the
service and support library.
System Servicing Information on the CSSI
Web
The CSSI Web provides procedures, part numbers, troubleshooting tips, and tools for
servicing Integrity NonStop NS-series systems.
A link to the CSSI Web can be found in the left navigation area of the NTL home page.
