ServerNet Fabric I/O

ServerNet adapters in the I/O adapter module (IOAM) enclosure or via NonStop

S-series I/O enclosures.

Each logical processor connects to both fabrics via its associated slice optic cables

and LSU. In Integrity NonStop NS-series systems, the ServerNet fabric is not

constrained by required topologies but is a flexible network within the system. Typically,

ServerNet adapters and mass storage devices connect to both fabrics. The X fabric

and the Y fabric are not connected through routers to each other, so a ServerNet

packet cannot cross from one fabric to the other.
