Cabinets
Cabinets
HP modular cabinets for the Integrity NonStop NS-series system are 42U high with
labels on the sides of the rack indicating the U positions.
These U indicators are used to locate existing hardware in the cabinet and to
determine the correct position (called offset) for installing new hardware during on-site
system expansion.
Each HP modular cabinet includes front and rear doors, the 19-inch rack for mounting
the system hardware enclosures, and two power distribution units (PDUs). To
accommodate the PDUs without using space needed for the other modular hardware
components, Integrity NonStop NS-series cabinets are deeper than 19-inch racks for
other systems.
AC Power PDUs
Each of the two PDUs in a modular cabinet has:
14 AC power outlets per PDU
Two fuses per outlet
Each PDU receives power from the site AC power source:
208 V ac, three-phase delta for North America and Japan
230/400 V ac three-phase wye for Europe, Middle East, and Africa
200-250 V ac single phase for international
Each PDU distributes the AC site power as single phase 200 to 250 V ac to the 14
outlets for connecting the power cords from the enclosures mounted in the modular
cabinet. These outlets are factory-wired to provide the 180-254 V ac required by the
modular hardware.
