Cable Length Restrictions
Cable Length Restrictions
Maximum allowable lengths of cables connecting the modular system components are:
Although a considerable cable length can exist between the modular enclosures in the
system, HP recommends placing all cabinets adjacent to each other and bolting them
together, with cable length between each of the enclosures as short as possible.
Cable Management System
The cable management system (CMS) for Integrity NonStop NS-series systems
include cable trays and clamps that manage the fiber-optic cables at the module level
and also cable spools and vertical cable guides that hold the cables installed on
modular cabinets. Using the CMS maintains the minimum bend radius and provide
strain relief for the fiber-optic cables and the power cords.
