NonStop S-Series I/O Enclosures
This illustration shows connection of a NonStop S-series I/O enclosure to an Integrity
NonStop NS16000 system:
Each p-switch (for the X or Y fabric) has up to six I/O PICs, with one I/O PIC required
for each IOAM enclosure in the system. Each NonStop S-series I/O enclosure uses
one port and one PIC, so a maximum of 24 NonStop S-series I/O enclosures can be
connected to an Integrity NonStop NS16000 system if no IOAM enclosure is installed.
