P-Switch to NonStop S-Series I/O Enclosure Cabling
This illustration shows the cables from the NonStop S-series IOMF 2 CRUs connected
to port 1 of the PICs in slot 4 of the X and Y p-switch, assigning the group number of

These restrictions or requirements apply when integrating NonStop S-series I/O
enclosures into an Integrity NonStop NS-series system:
•
Only NonStop S-series I/O enclosures equipped with IOMF 2 CRUs can be
connected to an Integrity NonStop NS-series system. The IOMF 2 CRU must have
an MMF PIC installed.
NonStop S-series system enclosures can be converted to NonStop S-series I/O
enclosures, replacing the two PMF CRUs in each enclosure with IOMF 2 CRUs.
Note. The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system does not support connections to NonStop
S-series I/O enclosures.
