Integrity NonStop NS14000 System
Description
This section describes the Integrity NonStop NS14000 system and covers these topics:
Server Description
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 server uses Intel Itanium processors and NonStop
advanced architecture (NSAA) in duplex and triplex configurations. It uses much of the
same modular system hardware as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 server. It supports
up to eight processors in a fault-tolerant configuration and uses a 4-port ServerNet
extender (4PSE) to extend ServerNet connectivity from the IOAM enclosure midplane
to the rear panel. The 4PSE enables ServerNet connectivity without a processor switch
