System Configuration Guidelines
The system configuration guidelines for the Integrity NonStop NS14000 system are
similar to those for the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system. For general information on
this topic, see Section 6, System Configuration Guidelines. For example
configurations, see Section 7, Example Configurations. These topics confirm
similarities and describe any differences in the configuration of the Integrity NonStop
NS14000 system compared to the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system.
Enclosure Locations in Cabinets
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system uses the same enclosure or component
location within a cabinet as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system with the exception
that Integrity NonStop NS14000 systems do not use p-switches. LSUs in a NonStop
Blade Complex connect directly to 4PSEs installed in the IOAM enclosure. For
