Cable Labeling
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system implements cable labeling in the same manner
as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 server. For information on this topic, see Cable
Labeling on page 6-4.
Cable Management System
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system implements the cable management system
similarly to the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system with the exception that the Integrity
NonStop NS14000 system does not use p-switches. For information on this topic, see
Cable Management System on page 6-5.
Internal Interconnect Cables
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system implements internal interconnect cables (see
Internal Interconnect Cables on page 6-6) similarly to the Integrity NonStop NS16000
system, with these exceptions.
Logical synchronization units (LSUs) connect directly to 4PSEs in the IOAM
enclosure. Unlike the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system, the Integrity NonStop
NS14000 system does not use p-switches.
An Integrity NonStop NS14000 system does not support connections to NonStop
S-series I/O enclosures.
Dedicated Service LAN Cables
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system implements dedicated service LAN cables in
the same manner as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 server. For information on this
