Factory-Default Disk Volume Locations
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system uses to the same factory-default disk volume
locations as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 server. For information on this topic, see
Factory-Default Disk Volume Locations on page 6-23.
Configurations for Fibre Channel Devices
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system supports up to four FCSAs (or 8 ServerNet
addressable controllers) and 16 Fibre Channel disk modules are possible, with
identification depending on the ServerNet connection of the IOAM and slot housing in
the FCSAs.
Configuration Restrictions for Fibre Channel Devices
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system observes to the same Fibre Channel device
configuration restrictions as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system. For information on

Configuration Recommendations for Fibre Channel Devices
The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system adheres to the same Fibre Channel device
configuration recommendations (see Configuration Recommendations for Fibre
Channel Devices on page 6-24) as the Integrity NonStop NS16000 system, with these
exceptions:

FCSAs can be installed in slots 3 through 5 in an IOAM.
•
G4SAs can be installed in slots 3 through 5 in an IOAM.
