NonStop S-Series I/O Enclosure
NonStop S-Series I/O Enclosure
NonStop S-series I/O enclosures equipped with model 1980 I/O multifunction 2
customer replaceable units (IOMF 2 CRUs) can be connected to the NonStop
NS16000 server via fiber-optic ServerNet cables and the processor switch (p-switch).
All hardware and I/O connectivity that is currently supported for NonStop S-series I/O
enclosures is also supported with the Integrity NonStop NS16000 servers, with the
exception of FOX ring connectivity. The model 1952 IOMF CRU, ServerNet/FX, and
ServerNet/FX 2 adapters are not supported.

Preparing for Other Than Integrity NonStop
NS-Series Server Hardware
This guide provides the specifications only for the Integrity NonStop NS-series server
modular cabinet and enclosures identified earlier in this section. For site preparation
specifications for other HP hardware that will be installed at the site with the Integrity
NonStop NS-series servers, consult with your HP account team. For site preparation
specifications relating to hardware from other manufacturers, refer to the
documentation for those devices.
Note. The Integrity NonStop NS14000 system does not support connections to NonStop
S-series I/O enclosures.
