Branch Circuits and Circuit Breakers
Branch Circuits and Circuit Breakers
Integrity NonStop NS-series modular cabinets contain two PDUs. Each of the two
PDUs requires a separate branch circuit of these ratings:
Branch circuit requirements vary by the input voltage and the local codes and
applicable regulations regarding maximum circuit and total distribution loading. Select
circuit breaker ratings according to local codes and any applicable regulations for the
circuit capacity.
Enclosure AC Input
Enclosures (such as processor slice, processor switch, IOAM, and so forth) require:
Each PDU is factory wired to distribute the phases to its receptacles, Refer to Modular
Cabinet PDU Phase Distribution on page 3-5. Factory-installed enclosures are
connected to the PDUs for balanced load among the phases.
Region Volts Amps
North America and Japan 208 60
Europe, Middle East, and Africa 230/400 63
Other International 200-250 63
Specification Value

* Voltage range for the maintenance switch is 200-240 V ac.
Caution. If you are installing Integrity NonStop NS-series enclosures in a rack, balance the
current load among the three phases. Using only one of the available three phases, especially
for larger systems, can cause unbalanced loading and might violate applicable electrical
codes.
