IP Addresses
IP Addresses
Integrity NonStop NS1000 servers require Internet protocol (IP) addresses for these
components that are connected to the dedicated service LAN:
•
ServerNet switch boards in the IOAM enclosure
•
Maintenance switches
•
System consoles
•
G4SAs
These components have default IP addresses that are preconfigured at the factory.
You must change these preconfigured IP addresses to addresses appropriate for the
LAN environment:
Whether or not the new system will receive dynamic IP addresses from a Dynamic
Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server, it is recommended that the IP addresses
be reconfigured as either:
