Example of 2-Processor System Cabling

This illustration shows an example of a 2-processor system. This conceptual

representation shows the simplified X and Y ServerNet cabling between the blade

elements and the IOAM enclosure and also the simplified cabling between the FCSAs

and the Fibre Channel disk modules. The example of Fibre Channel disk module

configuration for the group 100 IOAM enclosure is described in more detail in Two

FCSAs, Two FCDMs, One IOAM Enclosure on page 6-16.

To simplify the illustration, power and Ethernet cables are not shown. For cable-by-

cable interconnect diagrams, see Internal ServerNet Interconnect Cabling on page 6-4.

Cable management hardware that is part of each modular enclosure and also the rack

is not shown. Therefore, actual cable routing using the cable management hardware is

different from that shown. For detailed information on cable routing, refer to the

NonStop NS-Series Hardware Installation Manual.
